Credible messenger mentoring is a transformative mentoring intervention for justice-involved young adults, their life experiences make them particularly suited to support, guide and teach people involved in the criminal and juvenile justice systems. These staffed mentors share their similar experiences with an emphasis on how they overcame it. They are from a similar background, faced the same adversity and are able to equip young people with the tools to change their lives while providing them with a living example of hope and transformation.
